Windhoek Fashion Week Recap

The best time of the year to bring out all the stops and let’s just say the fashion crowd were dressed to the nines showing off in feminine tailored suits, prints, yellow mellow and sneaker comfort. Fashion Week Day 3 and 4  took place this weekend at Nampower Convention Centre and I have to say the street style was the highlight of the entire event (for me at least). Seeing familiar faces in the creative industry and meeting new people was insightful.
The designers did such a good job with their collections and the models did the damn thing on the runway. I can only hope that fashion week will be here to stay and get better every year.
What I Wore On:
Day 3 | Street Style Princess
Curating outfits that don’t involve denim jeans and an all-black ensemble was a lot more difficult than I thought, because that’s what I usually go for. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone just a tiny bit out . I had this white tulle skirt hanging in my closet, being one of the many items I can only wear to special occasions. I decided to pair it with a basic t-shirt and these Adidas by Stan Smith, still letting the skirt steal the show.
Day 4 | Urban Chic
I opted for more comfort and I have to say wearing a mini skirt made me feel quite girly-girl that I had to wear my vans sneakers with this look.
