What I’ve Been Loving This Spring | Beauty

I thought of scheduling monthly favourites blog posts, but to be honest I don’t accumulate that much beauty products nor do I go out and buy beauty products every month. So I’ve decided to do this a seasonal post instead.
Okay so let’s start.
The Body Shop Facial Mists
The Vitamin E facial mist was a lifesaver during the colder months. It provides such a good amount of moisture making your skin look dewy. The Vitamin C mist is great when for when you are looking a tad bit tired or your skin is lacking some radiance. I even use these mists over my makeup and it works so well.

Caribbean Tan Shimmer Cream
The tinted body bronzer is great during this time of the year, especially now that we are showing more skin. I use this on my décolletage when I’m wearing of the shoulder tops or my mid-section of my tummy when wearing a crop top. Oh, don’t forget about the legs. It provides a subtle tan with a healthy glow and as the light hits your skin, you kind of look like a glazed doughnut. Win Win!!

Tresemme Expert Collection – Botanique Range
I had to jump on this bandwagon, so I got myself the most raved about hair product for us Natural Babes out there. I’ll be honest, I was expecting so much more. The conditioner wasn’t giving me slip I needed to detangle, but as time went by my hair got use to the product and now loves it. Both smell delicious enough to eat and I guess the best part is that it’s free of all the harmful chemicals that aren’t good for curly and kinky hair.

Essie Nail Polish
Are you one of those girls who just can’t stand waiting for your nail varnish to dry and when you think it’s finally dry enough you just happen to smudge a nail or three. Yip, that’s totally me, I just CAN’T! But seeing that my budget doesn’t always allow me to get a Pedi, I got’s to do it myself. My favourite has to be In Stiches (right), great for summer, Bahama Mamma (left), Spaghetti Strap (middle).

Inglot Sparkling Dust
You might have seen me use this in an Instagram video of mine and my reaction to it. Probably one of the best highlighters I’ve used thus far, I’m even thinking of getting me two more shades. It’s so stunning on the skin. I dust some on my décolletage as well for that extra glow.

African Extracts Rooibos Eye Cream
A month ago I wrote a blog on the importance of using eye cream in your 20’s (here). I’m slowly incorporating anti-aging products into my skin care regimen and the eye cream has been my favourite part of my morning and night routine. I love that it is affordable for an eye cream and it’s super rich and creamy and my skin sucks it all in.

Uriage EAU Thermal Water
This is the kind of product that is going to be my side on days where I’m bare face ( I don’t recommend using it over your makeup) and seeing that it will be getting much more warmer, this is a must. It provides you with instant freshness and hydration, like you just got out the shower.
